fantastic stay
traditional decorfriendly staffawesome breakfast
I wanted a full local experience and this place delivered. the traditional decor was striking, and my room felt very cosy. i was also very close to the souks, a huge plus.. the staff was friendly and helpful. mourad stood out with his extensive knowledge and helpful attitude. breakfast was fantastic. Flavours were rich, everything was cooked well, and i left feeling full.
the riad was a bit difficult to locate initially as it is tucked away within the medina.

the hotel is conveniently situated near the souks and various restaurants, providing easy access to local attractions, and it is easy to explore the surrounding area. the medina is close, offering a cultural experience, and transportation options are readily available.

reaching the Riad is tricky, but worth it once you arrive. the staff helped us find the Riad, since we booked a transfer from the airport. the location was great because it was in the center of medina.
i did not appreciate being charged for birthday CAKE without it being clearly specified beforehand. the pricing was not properly confirmed with us in advance. worse, the cake was not brought out at the correct time as planned. the room did not meet our expectations in terms of cleanliness.

breakfast on the roof terrace provided a wonderful way to begin the day. the staff were helpful plus very cute. the roof terrace had terracotta pots of bougainvillea and lights at night and a particularly friendly relaxed atmosphere.

the well-designed room has beds upstairs on a mezzanine floor. this leaves plenty of space for a shower room. there is also a sitting area plus wardrobe. luggage storage is also available downstairs.

enticing rest areas around the Riad draw you to sit. you can sit with a coffee or read a book. the staff was accommodating and hard working. the riad was clean. it was in a perfect location.

the staff were super attentive and always ready to assist. they walked me to a local restaurant. they answered all my questions about the area. the breakfast was a delight served on the rooftop! the riad is beautifully decorated. i found the beds comfortable.
The bathroom door was pretty low. I bumped my head a couple of times. the door also needed extra force to close, a bit inconvenient. the temperature control in the shower wasn't the best. it alternated between too hot and too cold, a little annoying!

I arranged all my activities through the riad. this made things so much easier. i was met by a team member, who walked me through the market to the taxi pick-up. the manager checked in with me often to ensure everything was okay. I appreciated that.
I didn't appreciate being charged for a birthday cake without a clear specification beforehand. the pricing wasn't properly confirmed with us in advance. That was disappointing. the cake wasn't even brought out at the correct time as planned.
